Love reading? Love a good chat? Or just fancy an excuse to get out of the house on a Monday evening?

Welcome to the Somewhere South Book Club!

Forget homework, reading deadlines and awkward questions about what the author was really trying to say.

This is a book club with a difference. No assigned reading, no pressure to finish a book and absolutely no judgement if you haven't picked one up in months!

Bring along whatever you're reading at the moment, a book you've absolutely loved, or simply come along for the conversation. You might leave with a whole new reading list, a few new friends or both!

We'll be meeting on the last Monday evening of the month, at a selection of handpicked venues across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.

Think comfy sofas, a glass of wine or a cuppa, plenty of book recommendations and probably a few conversations that have absolutely nothing to do with books.

What to expect:

• A relaxed, friendly evening with a small group of women!

• A welcome drink & nibbles!

• No set book to read beforehand!!

• A chance to share recommendations and discover something new!

• Lovely venues and plenty of conversation!

• Absolutely no need to bring a friend!

Whether you're an avid reader, a casual page-turner or someone who buys more books than they actually read (guilty!), you're very welcome. Coming on your own? Perfect. Most of our ladies do, and we'll make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
